To cure children with cancer

The Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau is dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer. Its mission is to finance research and support the development of projects intended to improve the lives of thousands of children living with cancer in Quebec.

Sintra, a Colas Canada subsidiary, is proud to be actively involved in this noble cause.



Le grand défi Pierre Lavoie - 1000 km - Cycling Marathon

Cycling 1,000 km in 60 hours. Travelling from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean to Montréal. Through Québec and many other cities across the province where stops are scheduled. That’s what the 1,000 km event is all about.

The Grand défi Pierre Lavoie promotes healthy life habits among young people and support hereditary orphan disease research through the GO Foundation’s scholarships and grants.

Kentron, a Terus subsidiary in Kitimat, BC, is a supporting Team for the Cycling Marathon.


Arctic Winter Games

Arctic Winter Games  is an international celebration of northern sports, culture and friendship.

This sporting eventfocuses on athlete experience, community involvement and highlights the uniqueness of the north

The Cancer Research Society

The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is a national not-profit organization whose sole mission is to fund research on all types of cancers, thereby contributing to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting, and treating this disease.

Colas Canada is proud to provide support their employees on their mission for a greater cause. In 2011, Nancy Bastien, a Colas Canada employee, was part of the CRS expedition in Compostelle, Spain, where Mrs. Bastien walked 313 km to achieve great personal experience while raising funds for CRS.

In 2013 she also participated in the walk to Cinque Terre, Italy : «This is important of raising funds for the Research Society whose mission is to fund research exclusively for cancer. It is through research that one day we will overcome this horrible disease.»



Yukon Hospital Foundation

Established in 2005, the Yukon Hospital Foundation works under the direction of its volunteer Board of Directors to raise funds through events and individual and corporate giving to help the Yukon Hospital Corporation enhance the quality of healthcare Yukoners receive at the Whitehorse, Watson Lake and Dawson City hospitals.
Skookum Asphalt Ltd., a division of Terus Construction Ltd. (Colas Canada Inc. group) is proud to support the Yukon Hospital Foundation each year for a Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Foundation.
