The health and safety of our employees is our primary concern at Colas Canada and our subsidiaries, and we are fully engaged in the effort to address the COVID-19 challenge.

Following the guidelines and directives from government and health authorities, all of our companies have taken steps to ensure we are doing everything we can to prevent the further spread of the virus. This includes new working arrangements to promote social distancing and strict travel restrictions. We will continue to adjust our protocols as required to contribute actively to slowing the virus spread.

At the same time, we are focused on preparing for the upcoming construction season. Colas Canada and its subsidiaries are working hard to adapt our high health and safety standards to this new environment. We are working as a company and with industry associations to establish working protocols to prevent contamination and keep our people and the community safe, while also ensuring we can deliver on our work commitments.

Many of our services are important to everyday life, including areas like road maintenance and support for government agencies, utilities and infrastructure companies, which have been deemed an essential service by governments. We thank our crews for their continued commitment and for their efforts to adapt their work to these new circumstances.

Our entire team is working hard to prepare for the coming construction season. We thank them for their flexibility in adjusting to the new health and safety protocols—our team will be ready to meet the expectations of our customers and communities.
