The Meyokumin Neighbourhood Renewal Project is part of Edmonton’s Neighborhood Renewal Program aimed at revitalizing older residential areas to improve residents’ quality of life. This three-year project includes road reconstruction, concrete and curb replacement, sidewalk upgrades, and enhanced lighting and utilities. Situated in Mill Woods, an area rich in historical significance, Meyokumin derives its name from the Cree term for "good water." With a revised plan to expand work on interior roads sooner than anticipated, the project aims to improve traffic flow and access throughout construction.
