Colas company the Miller Group, and its division Brennan construction are proud to have been awarded the Construction Management General Contractor (CMGC) contract for the western section of the Bradford Bypass. By enhancing transportation links across the Greater Golden Horseshoe region, this project will create connections and foster economic growth in local communities.
The Bradford Bypass will feature a new 16.3km, four-lane expressway connecting Highway 400 and Highway 404. It is designed to ease traffic congestion and provide a faster route for commuters and freight between York Region and Simcoe County. As a cornerstone of Ontario's transportation infrastructure strategy, the Bradford Bypass is expected to create over 2,000 jobs annually and contribute up to $286 million to Ontario's economy. This contract will focus on the 6.5-kilometre segment between Highway 400 and Yonge Street in Bradford.
In this initial phase of this Construction Management model (CMGC), Brennan will work closely with the Ministry of Transportation and its designers to complete construction documents and drawings by the end of 2025. Following this, the Brennan team aims to finalize pricing and commence
